PART ONE:
1. EARTH IN OUR UNIVERSE
It is possible to count the amount of stars in the sky, and it tells you the amount you count with the naked eye, and if you had a telescope you could count a higher amount of stars in the sky.
This section explains a lot of areas about the universe and the stars. It says that there was a beginning of the universe since even now it is still expanding.
2. TWO DEAD PLANETS, LIVING WORLD
Pluto was once thought to be our 9th planet but is now considered an asteroid.
"Eight planets ring our Sun. The more we learn about the planets, the more unusual Earth seems. Each of the other planets is a dead—and deadly—place. Only our Earth is a living world."
The inner planets are Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars.
The outer planets are Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune.
This section talks about how it would be if we landed on the other planets

This section talks about the earth itself, and different ways that this planet is just perfectly set, and how global warming could happen and may not. There are some good points in there on both sides. It also talks about the ozone.

booksneeze listed this as a children's book, but there were some parts that i found completely confusing that i wonder why it was listed at that, my daughter was bored after the sentence was read off she left and didn't want to hear any more. There was a lot of information in this book, that was very helpful.
