The Hunger Games - Catching Fire

Me and Cassie watched this together and loved it, and now we can't wait to watch the third one (though it pisses me off that they take the third book and are making 2 movies, but oh well). I have read the whole series twice and it is still very interesting.

I have to say I sometimes get pretty mad when there are some great things missed in the movie(s) that were in the book. There was quite a few things that were taken out and quite a bit that was CHANGED, which is stupid to do.

This story/movie is about how the Quarter Quell changes everything. It shows how the Capitol is ALWAYS in control no matter what happens.

WARNING:
THIS POST BELOW TELLS OF SPOILERS FOR BOTH BOOK AND MOVIE

This 75th Annual Hunger Games (named The Quarter Quell) is a special one just like every other 25 years is. But this time the Capitol is taking it a little bit father. Instead of making the people of each District choose their children to go into the Hunger Games, they Capitol has decided that instead all victors male and female from each District must be chosen from. So poor Katniss, being the only female in District winner in 12 is guaranteed that she will have to go back in.

Description
The film begins as Katniss Everdeen has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark. Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a "Victor's Tour" of the districts. Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell) - a competition that could change Panem forever.
