Great pet gaming type sites - Subeta, Wajas, Neopets

These sites are all family friendly so children and adults of all ages play them. (I dont play them that often, but I will admit I do log in once in a while to check in on my account and animals). (There will be a shout out at the end with my favorite game that is no longer going. Go pets which was the first pet type game I played).

_________________________________

Subeta was the around the second game site I checked out. I have been on that site for over 11 years now. Sadly I could find no banner. Click here to go to Subeta

There is "quests" that you do, each one has their own set amount that you can do daily for each section. There is a "Wizard" which you can do 10 quests for, which is the normal amount for most of them. then there is Shinwa who you can only do her quest once a day. You will want to do hers first if you want to do hers cause she does hers in 5 stages where you have to go to the other quest giving people and do their quests (and yes it does take a quest away from your total with the people you go to). Also on the weekends you will see the site say something like this:

If you upgrade your account to a Gold account then you will get double the quests. You can do this by cashing with real money by buying what they call Cash shop cash (csc), they also now have a subscription apparently but you can also get it different ways. One way is you stay with the site for a year and you get a Loyalty box where you can select a 3 free months of a Gold account (GA). The site also gives away csc (cash shop cash) once in a while. And the biggest way you can do this without cashing is just play the game, get the free credits which they call sP and buy a medal from someone who paid cash for it.

There is so much more to the game, but I will leave this here with some picutres of pets that you can collect and these pets can be dyed many different ways, multiple times.

The next game I got into was Wajas which does have a banner thankfully

This site is all about dog types. Water, fire, forest, etc. Different species getting added every once in a long while. I started this game when in it was in the early stages, before it was fully released to the public you could only get into the site by referral which is what I did. So in all honesty I dont know what you get to start with but it is a great site and very family friendly, I know many adults, teens and kids play it. There is multiple games you can play to get WC, which is the free currency, there is even a lottery that you can buy tickets to win the pot. The currecy you buy with real money is called CWP.

You get a cave which gives you a certain amount of room for your pets, but you can upgrade it with WC. Atm I am at 252 cave size which meansmy cave holds up to 1260 wajas. If you get more than what your cave holds some of your wajas will start to "wander" out of your cave entually so it's best to not get too close to the max.

On the forum multiple people are willing to give up cute and free pups to newbies. Though you will never get 1st generation cause those are only gotten with cwp. You can get CWP by cashing on the site or by buying it from other people in their shops.

The pets have so many different color varriations, a lot of different markings and mutations that can be on them or added onto them later on. You can breed the wajas with love pears you buy from the pear shop on the site with wc. You can request breedings with other people but be sure to check what they have in cave rules as each person has them.

Another great game I played was Neopets. Sadly I could find no banner for this one either. Click here to go to Neopets

This one has lots of pets to choose from and different "paints" to color them with. There is now a dressing room area where you can dress them up with clothing and backgrounds (this wasnt there when I had played many years ago but looks like a great addition).

Honorable Mention:

( GoPets used to be an awesome one I loved to play years and years ago, it had a downloadable playable area where you could play with pets, fish and visit friendsetc, it had a chat box pop out area that you could use to chat in, multiple language room areas, as well as they used a site for other things like buying outfits, etc. This actually was my first pet game I had ever came across and really enjoyed it. I have long since lost pictures of my journeyu there but here is some from google searches: (also there is a Nintendo DS game out there as well, which I must look into seeing if I can find one).

The naughty Naughty Chair

Written By:Connie Jessop

Illustrator: Margaret Anne

The book is about a couple children name Lucy and Robert, and of course their mom. Robert does a naughty thing and is told to sit in the chair for a certain amount of time.

Cute and fast read for children of a young age. It shows that a child shouldn't misbehave and that wishes might come true but not always in the way you would expect. Pictures are cute and depict what is happening in the story they are reading. Many details in them to take in.

I received a free copy of this e-book free and am giving it an honest review, of my thoughts.

You Don't Belong Here

By:Sean O'Toole

Cute children story good for all ages.

There aren't too many words to most of the pages which helps the kids to focus on whats going on in the picture and to listen to the story without getting bored and distracted (but there is some with too many when kids start to get antsy to look at a new picture) . Cute childlike drawings draw the kids in to look more closely at whats going on and remark on it.

The book is about a pair of muskrat brothers, and even describes what a muskrat is so that the parent or teacher doesn't have to stop the story and explain. Marty and Manny get separated when Marty gets caught and is brought to a new place with animals he has never seen before and who have never seen anyone like him before.

The book shows some good team work and the acceptance of differences in each other.

I just wanna say that the ending is very cute and all kids will enjoy it in my opinion.

I received a free copy of this audio-book free and am giving it an honest review, for my thoughts.

Two muskrat brothers become displaced due to a storm and end up in a lady's backyard. They make a big mess back there, and the lady decides it's time for them to go. She calls an exterminator who comes and sets traps to catch them. He catches one of the muskrats and relocates him in a forest near a pond. He and his brother had never been apart before, and now he was all alone in an unfamiliar place. Some other animals approached him while he was drinking from the pond. They had never seen a muskrat before and were not as welcoming as he would have liked-until the muskrat proved himself worthy of living there by helping the animals defeat a dangerous foe. The other animals realized that he had some unique qualities and skills and did in fact belong at the pond, and they became friends. And someone special may have rejoined the muskrat to make for a happy ending.

The Adventures of Samba Rat & Friends in Sherman the Last Dragon

By: Steven and Mary Munsie

This is definitely not a book for younger children, as there is too many words with fewer pictures, but it is good for the older children and with all the big words, you will be able to teach them what they are. The picture themselves are quite cute and childlike and would appeal to many children wishing to read this book.

This book is about Samba Rat, Peter Porcupine, Squirrely the grey squirrel and Cindy the ladybug. The book follows these friends as they take an unintentional adventure involving hatching an egg and trying to learn about the creature it is, etc.

I received a free copy of this e-book free and am giving it an honest review, for my thoughts.

Heaven is for Real for Kids

I think this book was great. This was well written, and doesn't overdo the descriptions. It explains some of the back stories as you go along and meet with each of the characters. I got really into the book in the first 3 pages.

Here are some extra tidbits to get you interested, hope you like them. :D

Jade wants to have a baby, but seems to be unable to, she always miscarries. Her husband Max and her mother-in-law June think they can adopt, and don't really need to actually choose "the right one".

She thinks that because she had an abortion once, that God is saying that she blew her chance, to have one of her own, and she doesn't want to use a surrogate cause that bring another woman into their marriage intimately, and it would feel like cheating. She says if God wants them to have children, then they will when He decides. Max wants a boy and says if they don't get one then they can just keep trying.

Jade's mom has leukemia, and she looks after her, as well as manages her 2 shops. She has a really old truck, and nothing really works in it.

She find out her father-in-law is cheating (after she and the mother-in-law catch him).

Book Description

Maybe out there in the country she could catch her breath, learn to breathe again.

There—while her mother’s health grows fragile, and the tug of her first love grows stronger—Jade begins to question everything she thought she knew about family, love, and motherhood. In the wide-open landscape, Jade begins to see a future that doesn’t rest on the power of her past but in the goodness of God's tender mercies.

Heroes and Villains of the Bible

I know this a childrens version of the bible events, but I think that anyone would enjoy reading this book. My daughter having a somewhat short attention span, did like the book but I have to say with only a few pictures, it didn't completely captivate her. But she said it has some nice pictures, like of Eve being tempted by the Serpent. It talks of the very beginning and lots more events that are in the bible, like how Cain took the life of his younger brother.

"Cain was the first son ever born. But instead of being a good example, he was the worst example. Cain let anger take over his heart. And then he chose to do something that could never be undone."

It tells the story of Noah's Ark, how it rained for 150 days and then dried up in over another 150 days. How he sent a dove out to see if the earth was dried up enough.

"I will never again destroy all living things by floodwaters. A flood will never again destroy the earth. . . .I am putting my rainbow in the clouds. It is the sign of the agreement between me and the earth."

A very great read.

Just in Case You Ever Wonder

Daughter loved this book. It tells of how He makes everyone in a unique and special way, just as He made the earth. And how God picks where you live. Max Lucado writes good children books, that i think that all children would enjoy.

Night Night Blessings

Daughter thought this book was ok but kind of short. The book talks about the different blessings you can have. It is mostly like a small little prayer. Which when i told my daughter she then understood.

I would recommend this book to anyone who likes reading to and with the child.

Gabby, God's Little Angel

My daughter really enjoyed this book. She looked around to "call to her angel, and say thanks". This is a really great story and it quotes the bible in one spot.
"The Lord is your protection. . . . He has put his angels in charge of you. They will watch over you wherever you go.
—Psalm 91:9, 11"

I would recommend this book to any child old or young. I think all would enjoy this.
The pictures were great and really helps children to get into the story.

Hermie, a Common Caterpillar

Read this to my daughter tonight as a bedtime story, and she really enjoyed it. One of the things she wanted to know was if Hermie's God was the same as ours. She liked seeing how Hermie turned out and was a little upset that she didn't get to see Wormie's transformation. This is a great children's book. I would recommend it to anyone to read to their child.
